Exterior Opening Ventilation Shaft

This gallery shows how we installed a new ventilation shaft into a solid 10″ brick wall. We used a wet core drill with stand to bore a clean hole through the wall.

This was done with a minimum of fuss to the occupants and this boring technique meant that the structural integrity of the wall was not compromised as can happen when using kango hammers.

Complete Interior Render

A complete interior rendering on a new build extensions to an existing dwelling. This job involved plastering all interior walls and ceilings.

Horse Stable Concrete Render

Another exterior rendering job. As you can see from the gallery, this job involved the complete exterior rendering a stable. This was a toal area of __m² and took _ days to complete.

Exterior Breeze Block Wall Render

We do a lot of concrete rendering on exterior walls. This gallery shows the progress being made in this domestic rear garden as we applied a concrete a render onto a newly built breeze-block wall. There was approximately 20m² in area to render and the project took a total of two day.

Red Brick Chimney Flashing Repair

This project involved repairing lead flashing on this red brick chimney stack. We removed the old flashing, which had fell into disrepair, and installed new high grade lead flashing.

We have seen and repaired problems such as this many times. It is a common problem on older homes and should be treated as soon as possible as it can a lot or problems of left untreated.

Hillview, Waterford

This job was done in a 3 bedroom bungalow in Hillview in Waterford City. We went to the house and removed the fibreglass from the cavity wall and under the Warmer Homes Scheme I had my cavity wall re-filled for free as I receive the Fuel Allowance and I am also a pensioner, so all I had to pay was Tony in which only works out as being the same amount of money as a half tank of oil. The difference in my house now is that I do not have to have my heating on for very long and the heat stays in the house.

Insulation Extraction Waterford

For this insulation extraction project, we removed fibreglass insulation from this cavity wall. It was a bungalow and within 3 days of getting the cavity wall re-filled the difference in the heat staying in the house was already being felt. There was mould in the bedroom and bathroom at the back of the house. The Waterford based client (Norwood, Waterford) believed it was due to a lack of sunshine but the actual reason was due to the fibreglass retaining rain water that had soaked into the wall.
